The film draws from real events, however, the story in itself is fictional in nature. The film is directed by Danila Kozlovsky who also stars in it as the lead.

OK, so I was never really able to get into podcasts, I think I was put off by the first few that I listened to, that either focused too much on banter with the hosts / callers, or were science based ones that focused more on "pop science", like a whole
It's very well made and a fascinating watch. It may be difficult to watch in terms of knowing that it's based on true events. In terms of being visually difficult, IMO it's not. What's being shown is radiation poisoning which isn't a gorey death as they go. It's also 5 episodes long which isn't really enough to get so attached to a character
